Default boost

is more boost better than less boost?I see some cars with more boost than other but are making the same rwhp. So,can u run less boost and run more rwhp?and is less boost safer?

Less boost is "safer" only if it is tuned right. You can also have more rwhp with less boost if you have a larger displacement.

Are all the rwhp results from the same dyno? Dyno numbers may vary hugely between dynojets and mustangdynos and even similar model dynos. Two of us with turbos dynoed on the same dynojet...then we both switched to the same mustangdyno (different days) and both saw a 25% drop in numbers on baseline pulls. It's just a number, a tuning tool.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the dyno numbers, like forensic said, there can be a lot of variation between dynos. Look at trap speeds from the 1/4 to make a better comparison.

boost is a measure of restriction, a more efficient motor can make more power on less boost.

i.e. same blower/pulley on two cars, one a motor with heads/cams/ LTs/ o/r X-pipe will see less boost than similar motor without those mods but make more power. since the airflow is better there is less pressure seen

as mentioned above as well the dyno is a tool, the real test is at the track!

no its not, more power yes, boost not so much. If you can get the same power on less boost due to a freer flow of air and make the same power your engine is better off
