Default Hey new guy here. Qestion for yall

Hey yall, i bought a 2008 mustang gt bout 6 monthes ago, now ive waited and waited untill i found the pefect exhaust sytem, well i have full mac (o/r prochamber axle backs and headers). Now my question is should i go with long or shorty headers. Now i'm completly new to mustangs , been a truck guy for some time now, so i know nothing about them. I want the best of the 2 for maybe going F/I later on and im thinking long tubes, but one of my good friends who thinks hes a mustang god said that the newer stangs do better with shortys. So tell me what yall think and ill be buggin yall with a ton of more questions. thanks

long tubes will make more power and be better if you decide to go F/I later on. Also: https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...nd-thread.html

Check out the link in Vroom23's thread above on exhausts. There's a ton of info to be found by using the forums search engine.

BTW, delete the word "best" from your vocabulary here. What's best for you may not be whats best for anyone else.

if you want to get the most power down the road, especially if you go f/i, then long tubes are the best choice. shorties give you a little power bump, but are good mainly for a 'smoother', 'deeper' sounding exhaust

i believe the prochambers are pretty much an h-pipe. i do know it will make your car sound deeper and louder
