Im half way there....
Man I could kick the engineers a** that designed the spark plug/head issue, but first I'd make him take them out. I do have the right bank out, but I have never heard such screeching The noise they make as your
working them out is enough to make anybodys sphincter
tighten up just praying they dont break. Im letting the left bank soak another hour then will try them. Now do i clean and put plugs back in (w/ nickel anti-seize of coarse) or do you get new plugs and if so what brand? What do most MF'ers do? The car has 23,500 miles on it.

i know early on, when people were first
trying to get away from the two piece
design, they were going with the champion
7989 plugs.
there might be more options now and maybe
someone can recommend one.

Success.....Woo Hoo, back flips, pump fist, and a huge sigh of relief....all 8 spark plugs are out. Now same question, get new plugs and if so what brand? What do most MF'ers do? The car has 23,500 miles on it.
Ok so I had some time on my hands so I brought one of the plugs in to do a web search and I found that the "PZT1F" is a replacement plug. From what I read it is a colder plug, Ford thought the original plug was too hot and giving the 4.6 some issues. I was looking at the plugs and there is still a carbon buildup on them and I didnt see any signs of anti-seize. Sorry for the noob question but does the anti-seize kind of burn up or disappear being its in the combustion chamber. I know when I have put it on water pump bolts and then removed them at some point I could still tell they had anti-seize on em'. Im just trying to find out if any was put on these plugs or not. Has anyone used anti-seize on theirs and then removed later and could you tell it was put on ?

I bought the Champion one piece plugs.........haven't done the switch yet.............waiting for warmer weather. I've got 12,000 miles on my 07 and hopefully won't have big problems with them. I can't see putting the 2 piece plugs back in and have to sweat it every time you want to change them out.

Every little screech and squeal make you think your doing more harm than good. Only reason I was changing mine cause I though I had a fouled plug, turns out they were just fine........Still kicking myself.
Anyway, congrats again!
