BOOST A PUMP
Perfect, Thanks. It was dyno tuned with it off.. We adjusted timing and a/f. Will the lack of the pump being active caue a loss of power? i hearing pingig on the freeway.. Yikes hope it did not hurt the engine. You think they should re-dyno? The car is a blast.
R U speaking of the BAP or lack of a fuel pump working? (say one of the GT500 duel pumps not working)
EDIT -I think you meant the BAP and if you hear pinging with the BAP on go back for a retune as something else is wrong (maybe just a tune issue-faulty wire/connection). If not with the BAP at full (50 confirmed by tacobill) you should have no issues throughout the powerband!

The BAP was set to lean the whole time the tech forgot to set it.. Wondering if i set it to 50 will it improve performance. And for saftey should I asl the shop to redyno now that the bap is dialed in...
it should help if the lean condition was from the fuel pump or the current was not right at the time it was pinging.....remember that the stock fuel pumps max duty cycle when its reached its maxed out then and the BAP wont make any difference (it only makes the pump work better or decrease the chance of a hiccup when the cars load [current/amps] is at it greatest). So get it dyno'd again and see what the duty cycle on the pump is at WOT..... I am not really worried as your not near the max the pump can handle... I had the stock fuel pump for months before changing it at said power level in my sig and no issues.
