LucasOil yay or nay

In CA I was a avid Red Line Oil fan, now in NC I've changed to Amsoil. I think Amsoil is the better oil after the move, Red Line was no longer available to me. Anyway, between Red Line & Amsoil I have more than 350k miles of satisfied use.
For nearly all of those miles I have been adding "Tufoil" to my oil. This was recomended by the machinest that built my engine in a pretty cool BMW. On that BMW I used a total of 26 sets of tires in 269k miles total miles with the engine redone at 132k miles. The thing was still purring when I sold it. This engine, the famous BMW "4" was used extensively for FUN RIDES in the mountains, hence the tire consumption issue, it also spent its life at 4k RPM on the highway, and in the mountains, at least 90% of the time would be in the high 5's to 6k RPM's. I think that definitely shows the strength of the oils and additves, and I really doubt that you can work a Mustang GT's engine as hard as that little guy worked.
