2005+ Mustang GT Exhaust Sound
I love the nasty, mean, tinny, choppy, old school muscle car sound.
Is it possible for a 2005+ Mustang GT to sound like that just by swapping out for long tube headers, aftermarket H pipe, and aftermarket axle-back exhaust? The sound clip from this link is the exact kiind of sound I'm looking for. But I'm skeptical about being able to achieve that sound just by swapping out those 3 parts without a cam swap as well. What's everyone's opinion on this?

Without cams it's going to be hard to replicate the sound of an old school big block. Less cubic inches, less compression, different fuels, etc.
Don't get me wrong these cars sound awesome (with the right exhaust) but without some good cams, they just aren't going to sound like the muscle cars of the late 60's.
Go on places like youtube and listen to the 100's of different clips they have on just Mustang's alone.

Here is a video of my car with JBA shorty headers and corsa mufflers. This is still with the stock catted H-pipe.
