I was lookin the other day... and I have this looks like a copper rod commin out of the lower radiator torwards the front of the car that you can move... at first I thought something flew up in there and was gonna pull it out... but it seems it supposed to be there... whats the point of this thing? and can it be removed?

sounds like the automatic tranny fluid line running to the tranny cooler in the radiator. to the Op, do you have an automatic tranny car?

no I think I have found out what it was... looks like a hanger rod they used to hang it on a wall maybe and they just stuck it through the fins...
