I'm been looking at vids on youtube about the pypes catback, from what was said earlier youtube doesn't do fairness to the sound, but those catbacks didn't sound much improvements from stock.

Anyone here has them on their mustang? Or knows more about them.

youtube doesnt justify quality... but still its a good start...

to answer your question, there should be an axle code written on the inside of the door, where you said you already looked. 3.31 is CG and 3.55 is CD... hopefully that helps...

The door sticker should have a 2 letter axle code: CG = 3.31(standard ratio), CD = 3.55(optional ratio)

Thank you, the code is CG.

How can I get a better decision on the pypes catbacks?

Or what about Magnaflow catbacks? Borla is way too expensive I'd buy it if the extra money is completely worth it, but I would go with either pypes or the magnaflow if sound isn't much different.

I am a huge fan of the magnapacks right as soon as I heard them in person... they sound way better than just buying magnaflow mufflers...

I'll definitely be considering the magnapacks.

My only worry about O/R in general is that I will be moving back to Cali not for another 2 years tho, but having those will screw me over on smog tests. I personally don't know any ways around that so any tips would help. Other than that I would definitely go with o/r for sound and performance.

About the h pipe and the x pipe, I'm currently finding a really good deal on AM compared to other sites I know about and with the headers I'm buying (BBK l/t) they don't have h pipes only x. Unless I switch to JBA which isn't that much more with their headers and h pipe.

What do you guys think?

did you try lethal performance? I know they have some good setups... and JBA longtubes sound really good. Im sure they perform just as good as any other brand out there.

as far as the h pipe, Kooks makes an h pipe also (along with JBA and Pypes)...
