Found out from mechanics the revised part is no different and I should expect the same issue to happen in the next year or so. After 2 months of owning it the light came on and threw that code.... followed VW regs and did oil change and light turned off. Moral of the story, stay away from problem cars and cars with a lot of work done to them (unless its a modded car for racing then its probably ok as long as its not a DD). That W8, although functioning fine when I traded it will probably break down in the next year or two with more damage than the car is worth. Mustangs are great and reliable but I would avoid cars with extensive work done to them. You don't know exactly what damage was done to the car in the front end or underneath.

Whats you're zip? i'll see if I can find something reasonable. What options do you want?

30401 is the zip

would like between an 05-08, GT, would like to stay under 35-40k miles if possible. Am flexible on auto or manual. Will be paying cash...so I dont want to go any higher than 16,000 if possible. My friend has an 08 GT w 25k miles on it he would LOVE for me to take over payments on, only drawback is theres still like 19,800 owed on it. Yikes.

See if this guy would go for 16k in cash. Listing expired so he may not of sold it yet. He is looking for a payoff, but he may not have an option.

I looked on vehix, autotrader, kbb.com, and did a search for local dealerships. unfortunately I couldn't find much in the way of an 05+ GT for $16000. Most of what I am seeing is 18-21K. Most dealers mark up around 3k on used cars. ( My 05 was marked up almost 5k)

A loaded '06 GT should be had from a dealer for no more than $17k-18K, tops. I just bought a mint '06 V6 pony package with 9K miles for $13.5k. Search around. If you know what you're doing you can get an '09 or '10 for at least $2-3k below invoice, BEFORE rebates.
