+12v switched source that maintains power during cranking?
Can anyone tell me where to find a wire that does this under the dash?
Colors/location?
I have a digital boost/vac gauge that recalibrates every time you turn it on.
I currently have it hooked up to my foglights, so I have to turn them on every time I get in the car before I start the engine or my gauge is miscalibrated.
I'd like to get it wired so I don't need the foglights.
Thanks for any ideas!

Off the top of my head, I'd say the clock and any light circuit. I hope the gauge can handle low voltage during cranking or else it'll still try to reset as the voltage comes back up.

OK, directly to the battery for starters (no pun intebded).
Hmmmm, one thats hot during starting?
How bout the starter fuse. Thats gotta be hot during starting, should it not?
A 1 Farad cap and a 1N4001 diode will keep the power to the guage during
starting no matter where you hook it up at.
