Started Intercooler install
#11
Do you have any additional photos of your install? I would love to see more of how the intercooler mounts to the intake and how you route the brass fittings to the side of the intake where the heat exchanger hoses attach to the intake. I am planning on doing this same upgrade but I am not purchasing the big boost kit. I am putting some of the parts together one at a time and also like you I am not interested in the smaller puller or fuel pump.
Did you have to remove the front bumper to mount the heat exchanger? Did you have to replace the intake gasket when removing the blower?
Thanks for the help

I'm using all Whipple parts, just not buying them all together. I have the Fluidyne/Whipple heat exchanger and plastic coolant tank I purchased from another member here on the forum who upgraded those parts. I am getting the Bosch water pump online for cheap. So really the only things I will buy from Whipple will be the 4 hoses, intercooler core, water pump bracket, wiring harness, and misc. bolts/gaskets. I think I can keep it right at a $1000 instead of spending $2400. Plus I'm not interested in the ilder pulley, 10psi pulley, or fuel pump.
