Default How mush PSI?

How much PSI can our engines take safley if i get the vortech H.O. I didnt wanna kill my car by running tooo much.

i was told 8-10psi max to be safe. friend with a newer mach1 runnin 10psi on stock.

I run 8psi but you should be fine with 10psi. I chose to have 8psi due to the fact that mine is a daily driver for the mean time.....

I run 11psi........... muhahahhahahhahah!!!!! (not a DD)

many agree 8-10 psi or 450 RWHP

it's all in the tune really. a good tune and 12psi might be safe, a bad tune and 5psi can blow the motor.

really you need to go my the power more than the PSI. Kenne Bell said they didn't blow up their test car until 600+whp. they suggest not going past 525whp to leave that margin for safety. it's up to you how much of that margin you want to keep

It's not the psi, its volume. PSI is not psi-a it's psi-g therefore thats manifold pressure. like it was said if the tune is bad 5psi will blow your motor.

Do you have any video clips of your exhaust? I'm thinking of geting a X pipe with high flow cats.

16 psi, 17 and it will bust. Oh wait, you said safely, nevermind.
