I got one dealer to bring down a 2005 roush mustang to 35k (from a ridiculous 45k), would I still be getting ripped off that much? Most normal GTs around here are selling for 32k since they are so hard to find, atleast the coupes.

IMO anything over MSRP is a ripoff....if you buy it your are jonesin like, real bad. - if no dealer markup, then it's a fair deal.

Check out roushperf.com - under vehicles, the 05 is listed and they show pricing for the "core components" and the optionals.
Compare that to the Roush sticker. (you should have both a Ford and a Roush sticker.)

I never would have thought I would buy a dress up car like this myself, but it blew me away and I had to have it. No regrets whatsoever.

They had one down at a dealer here for around 33k... Sounds like you're in a good ballpark...

I paid Ford sticker plus Roush Sticker - came to almost $41k (OUCH in the pants) - was $31k for the GT Premium Vert and almost $10k for the Roush core plus some interior options.
