Fixed my water leak! BUT I have a SJB issue...
So yeah fixed my new leak lol (second time I've had to deal with it... just from the a-piller seam this time) SO I'm ecstatic! BUT my smart junction box is in bad shape. It works 80% of the time but it will randomly shut off my lights, not start, set off my alarm ext. So where can I get a replacement? How bad is it to swap? Anything else I should know? I tried searching long and hard for info on here and via google... I'm desperate and out of warranty!

I'm not savy on the SJB but I'd like to think that you could do another (assuming you did it at least once already) MAJOR cleaning and retightening of all connections before anything else. Since your problems seem to pop up intermittently, it really sounds like a dirty or loose connection rearing it's ugly head once in awhile and NOT a component failure. Keep us posted.

S197 SJB guru here.
Get one from the same year model stang if possable.
http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=421&viewfil... Box (SJB).pdf
http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=404&viewfil...stallation.pdf
The stealership will have to do the programming.
Good luck with that one...
Pull your SJB apart and remove the EEPROM.
Replace the new SJBs EEPROM with your EEPROM and see if
that will get you around the stealership assistance problem...
