06 GT Convertable fueling problem

Default 06 GT Convertable fueling problem

With my 06 GT when I am fueling it up as long as somelse is fueling everything is fine if they finish before I do I get a pressure shut off and it doesn't matter where i place the nozzle it will only take a few tenth and shutoff again. Has anyone else had this problem if so what did you do to correct it email me at arkansastravler@hot mail.com Thanks TJ

Do a simple search
We all have the problem
Search the TSBs for the answer.
Cant people from Arkansas read? LOL JK

If I had any idea what a TSB was and how to retrive it I would have did it, so how do I go about doing what you suggest, Yea I have a little touble reading braile. TJ

allot of fords seem to have that problem (both my 97's do the same thing) just don't put the pump to full on, instead just put it on the first latch the pump has. it will fill slower but you wont have it keep shutting off on you.

Common. The TSB's are compiled in one of the stickies in the main 2005-2010 forum. Unfortunately, the fix in the TSB doesn't seem to resolve the problem. Use the search feature and find all of the work arounds suggested that have been discussed over and over.
