As the Title reads, I was curious if a 2006 Mustang GT BAMA tune can be used on a 2005 GT?

I just got a predator tuner loaded with a C&L Tune for my 2005, but the original owner also provided at 87,91,93 tune from Bama tunes for a 2006 GT. I was curious if I could safely load them.

No because the cars will have different strategy codes on the pcm.

eh, i wont say it will not work because i know diablo works differently and i dont think doug needed my PCM initially. I would email Diablo and see what they say and maybe email doug too. He is super busy so i dont think you will get a reply right away but diablo might come thru. Its been a very long time since i got my first tune from him.

No. It won't work. And you could end up frying your stock strategy code if you try it.

Thanks so much for all the input. I did contact Doug and am waiting to hear back from him, but I think I am quite convinced that it is not worth the risk.

I suppose Diablosport just clones their timing and fuel calibrations for the multiple model years (and associated strategy codes) the Diablo supports.
