Default SVT supercharger on NON SVT mustang?

Is this possible? I assume it is just like anything else. The reason I ask is, I, like alot of other people, do not have 7500 dollars to get into blown mustang HP. I see that USED SVT supercharges can be had for quite cheap on ebay and what not. Is this a cheaper alternative to the kenne bells and whipples? I realize they probably aren't as good, but that isn't what I'm asking. What would it cost to put a used SVT supercharger on a non SVT mustang? This would be for a 2005 GT by the way. Thanks!

Whoa. Deja vu? Have I seen this exact topic and post before or am I crazy? I don't mean similar, I mean exact. Anyway, it's not economical to try to fit a superchrger from a GT500 onto a GT. With the right amount of money, it would work, but it would cost far more than those superchargers you consider out of your price range and would yield less benefits.

Hold on a second guys, but isn't the TVS 2.3 Roushcharger unit the same as the stock Eaton TVS unit that comes with the GT500, only with the manifold made to fit the Roush P51 engine?

There are even some sites that sell that kit for our 4.6 3V, except you actually HAVE to use underdrive pullies to keep the boost for blowing your stock engine up.

Perhaps you can contact Roush, Inc. and maybe work out a deal on a "replacement" manifold for a TVS Roushcharger and use it on the used SVT Eaton unit. Something to think about.
