Well, I hope you learned a lesson. Don't start a project until you have all the tools and parts.. Everyone knows, well almost everyone, that there could be hang-ups when taking apart engines, so if you don't have all the parts and the process isn't going smoothly, don't blame others for trying to help you, whether they were right about a part or not.

lol i agree 100%. but the truth is i get impatient
while gathering all the parts and tools and just say
the heck with it and will get started anyway.....

sometimes you just got to start turning the first few
bolts to get settled down and ready for the job
at hand.

Yea, trust ford. Only trust ford to take your money, nothing more.

yeah, I was tryig to be prepared... I mean, when I say straight up, its the wrong tool and he says, it works, "we have done them using this tool," thats the only thing that made me upset. If he had admited uncertainty, I would have done as I am doing now, and waited for the tool I ordered to come in. When you being the "expert" on a subject, tell someone that has never done it before, that this WILL work, you are taking a bit of personaly accountability there. Or at least that is how I feel whenever I post, or tell somone how to do something.

Calling him a *****.....?? pot calling the kettle bblack eh? haha you're retarded if you think he came off as the *****.....
of course I guess I would prolly expect that you're a hardcore blue oval guy who halfwittedly takes every negative connotation toward ford as a personal insult..... way to go big guy LOL

Yes, this is what I am saying. I asked no questions, was not lied to, and did not consult the "expert" to verify before I attempted. Even though I didnt do any of that, I fully blame the Ford headquarters. This is 100% Alan Roger Mulally fualt (President / CEO Ford) I am still very angry, have and have no possible solution in sight. I did not place any TRUST in the people at the Ford dealer, to think they might know something more then me about a job I have never done.

Oh wait a minute, thats 100% wrong.
