Factory Tune vs Custom Tune on OEM Car?
Has anybody compared factory tune with a custom tune on a 100% stock car on a dyno?
Seems like most people get a tune in conjunction with exhaust, pulley and/or CAI swap. I'm not interested in hearing these results. I want to know if tune only adds significant hp. Thanks vry much.

Just getting a tuner is supposed to be worth about 12 hp and some decent torque if you use the 93 octane at the wheels due to the advanced timing etc. and people are also impressed with the increased throttle response. You can also find some more hp by removing the HC trap from your intake tube (if your car came with one). Search here and some other forums and you should find dyno sheets to support this.
