Yup. but the funny thing about mine is it seems to leak when it wants too. Drivin it hard, drivin it normal, let it sit for a few days, sometimes the oil looks low and sometimes it doesnt.

My snout is now leaking too! I notice a small film of oil on the underside of the snout every couple of days.

They better fix this for free, as I have no more than 6k miles on the unit.

Something is leaking causing a film down both sides of my whipple plenum. I imagine it is the snout leaking, but really don't feel too much under the snout. I still have full operating range oil... hmmm..

BruceH,

How has the seal held up since you did the repair a few months back?

My seal is going bad for the 3rd time. I'll have to do the repair myself.

So far so good. I remember thinking the seal seemed a tad undersized because it seated real easy. If I had to do this again I'd wet install the seal with rtv.

I have the seal on order, and plan to do the install as soon as they arrive.

What tool or technique did you use to ensure the seal was seated properly?

Am I the only one who's seal hasn't leaked? I have 28k miles on my blower.
