i feel your pain OP. i have a 4 wheeler and go on off roading trips almost everyweekend. there is no way id consider toying with the stang. luckily i have access to a truck for this. if it wasnt for that alone i probably wouldnt have bought my stang at all.

I have a hitch on my 2010 GT, not a CS though. For the GT you have to modify the rear fascia because it attaches in the middle. I don't know what you have to modify on the CS fascia to get a hitch to fit. If you post some pictures from about road level of the back I might be able to tell you.

For the suggestion to only put the hitch on when you need it. Totally not an option. The hitch uses the exhaust hanger bracket holes for mounting and the bolts have to be fed into the frame rail and are not accessable once installed.

lol...great one...as a GTCS owner, i'd hate to see this happen, but you gotta do what you gotta do...that said, I have no idea how to hitch a GTCS...My uncle (more $$ than brains) used to tow his 26' boat with his NEW 95 Cobra (in '95) and I wouldn't even meet him at the lake for it...lol...
