2010 mustang vs 03 cobra
just wanted peoples take on this. how would a 2010 GT with the 550HP whipple kit w/ full exhaust fair against a whippled 03 cobra 2.3L whipple & Boltons?
Heres my delema i have a 2010 Gt which i love but have always had a thing for the 03 cobras. i found a dealer that is selling one for less than what they will give me to trade the GT. right now the GT is 100% stock. was thinking about trading it in for the cobra or getting the FRPP whipple kit for the GT(the latter is going to end up costing more).
Thanks

I love terminators, only problem is, they are getting more and more rare, so I would not want to be driving it all the time, where if I whippled a new GT I would not feel bad if I brought it out every day and beat on it every now and then.

the cobras are beasts! the block is capable of over 1000rwhp and they're really rare...ony like 15K made! That being said...it's 7 years old, you don't how much it's been rodded on, and the IRS in them isn't known to stand up.

Lol, i had to make the exact same decision. i took my 05 GT vert to the local dealer to trade for a 03 termi. i drove the termi aroudn, it was mostly stock, had aftermarket chrome repro wheels on it, lacked a spare, had issues you expect on the outside and inside fomr a car of that year. Teh dealer wanted $19K for the car. It had soem serious issues with teh IRS on the back they werent interested in fixing. I drove off in the 10. After driving in the 05 going back to the layout inside the 03 was not a fun thing for me. the driving position is much, much better in the 05 and up and the 10 is even better. You simpyl can't compare teh fit and finishes between an 05 and a 10, much less an 04 or 03.
the 10 is eons ahead of the 09 down in comfort and quality on the inside. Sure the termis can be beasts, but so can a ten and for me the 10 is much, much more livable on a daily basis. That said, i will add a Termi to my stable eventuall, i love those cars but after driving the S917 a termi for me is a second car for fun.

Bottom line....the Termi is gonna be faster, easily modded to be even faster, sound better, and will carry a street reputation. The 2010 is going to have a better interior, feel better driving, and have a better exterior (IMO, personal preference). I would take the Cobra if I didn't drive it everyday, but a blown 2010 GT would also be fun. My vote goes to the Cobra based on performance.
