I thought about purchasing another wheel once my Mustang comes in for use as a spare. My idea was to remove the back seats since they're useless anyway and use that room to design a custom stereo enclosure that would house the spare wheel in the center, two subs, and a set of components. This would keep the trunk functional yet and good sound imaging. Only downside is maybe the smell of the tire. But I think it would look cool. Providing it would all fit.

Seems odd because i thought the 5.0L 4v were actually lighter engines(not by much) than the 4.6L
Yes my 2010 came with a spare. The camaro comes with a can of compressed air and filler as a way to give the driver a way to repair the flat. BMW doesn't provide spares either anymore. They would rather you opt for $700+ run flats.

Someone else mentioned the spare won't fit over your brembo's so that is most likely the real reason for the delete.
