I backed my Saleen up on a set of those and they did not get my car high enough off the ground to do what I needed to do.
Yes when I went to back down they shot out the back of the car like bullets.Scared the **** out of me.

I have them, but I have the ones rated for trucks - just to make sure they can hold the weight. I guess I'm paranoid. I bought them because I couldn't use my old steel ones, they were too steep. I haven't tried the Blitz ramps since I lowered my car a few days ago. But as mentioned here, just wedge them under the tires and you should be fine.
