I still wonder if it has to do with that stupid skipshift solenoid sometimes.

Did the 2010 GT500 have the skipshift?
If not that could not be the problem because the 10's are having the same issue.

Wait.... I don't think ANY of the GT500's have skipshift bro.
I believe this is only for the new GT's!

I'm pretty damn positive about this too.

Edit: CONFIRMED!
The 2011-2012 GT500 does NOT have skip shift! But the other models with the same tranny do.

Also, here is a thread on the SVT forum about the 1-2 shift grind.
I did not read it all. It is a pretty long thread but may help you get some information.

Note: No matter WHAT the forum says I would take the car in again still. After that if you have still have the issue
you could try putting in a MGW shifter and see if that helps. Remember though they could say this voids your warranty.
Although by law it does not, Ford can still enforce it because they are counting you will not put up the big cash for a lawyer.
It has been done many times by shady dealerships.
Link to the thread that talks about the problem:

As always... happy to help anytime I can.
Even though I may not be very informed on that certain subject I
have done a bit of reading on it when just browsing around forums and such.

Thanks Blacksmoke, I appreciate your help.

My next move it to buy a radar detector! Thinking of the Escort 9500ix. I'm a little leary of a laser jammer since they are illegal in OK. But there is that "veil" stuff, wonder if it really works?
