As for your question up higher, yes you can make it (the MGW) stock height (even make it look like it's the stock shifter with stock **** and boot). They make it very easy to customize both what it looks like and where the shifter sits (back, forward, left, right). Check out their website
Fantastic! Thanks for the info. I'll check the website. Have fun while improving your times.

dunno if i'm too late to chime in or not.. but i LOVE my Hurst Billet Competition Plus Shifter (Hurst Performance 3915201).. http://www.americanmuscle.com/hurst-...er-0509gt.html went from stock 4" pull to 2" pull (1st to 2nd) and to me it feels gated.. even with my heavy aluminum **** it self-centers like a dream.. but i'm sure any will be better than stock

MGW = Made in USA

Hurst = Made in China

I know that's not important to many people, but it is to me.

look.. i know where you're coming from, both my grandfathers fought in WWII to make the USA a better place... but we're becoming a country of Service.. not manufacturing.. we've done this to ourselves.. want more convenience (walmart) we want cheaper stuff! (make it overseas)

and i try to buy american when i can... (which is most of the time) but sometimes some things can't be helped, and i'm kinda getting off-topic here... and i appologize, and will say no more about this...

but...

MGW uses Tiawanese & Japanese built CNC machines to make their stuff..

come on..

I threw a Roush short throw shifter in my 2010 and it made a world of a difference... found it on ebay as an 'open box' item for like 140 or so and it was very much worth it.
