Mike from PunchIt, ProRacer Software and FR Throttle Body solved all problems
I have been having issues with tuners, as do alot of people. Just like any other business, not all tuners are created equal.
So I decided to get SCT ProRacer, an Innovate MTX wideband and some time to get my car dialed in myself.
Then I was introduced to Mike Shimmack/Punch IT Performance.
The first tune he sent me made a big difference, then I put in the Ford Racing Throttle Body. Big difference over Kenne Bell Stage II TB for closed loop and idle. So much smoother. ** I did not lose any boost. Still 10lbs.
Then I sent him some wideband datalogs and without the dyno pull yet the car is where I expected it to be with this setup.
I have been fine tuning the MAF Transfer Function table tonight, but Mike helped me out tremendously. He knows the 4.6 for sure.
Here is the BIG difference. The tuners I used were increasing the Short Term Fuel request in OPEN LOOP for more fuel after the MAF Transfer Function was maxed out. This made the car run horribly in open loop aat low rpms. Apparently you can modify the table, injectors and cubic inches to keep the table in range.
One tuner def didnt adjust the delay on the O2 sensors for the long tubes. (Short term was wayyy off closed loop). I think he just put the Kenne Bell Value tune on my car to be honest.
In the end the car runs great now. Dyno is on thursday.
Just wanted to share a POSITIVE story about a tune.
If you have $350 and some knowledge of tuning, get the ProRacer software and a wideband O2 sensor, its worth it.

Dyno went well. Tuner did not try to modify my tune at all. (I gave him my MTF file as an opening). He said the car was running great. He could nitpick here and there (cold start closed loop delay), but that is why I bought the ProRacer software anyway... 432 rwhp at 6200 rpms and 389 ft lbs tq at 5000 rpms on a Mustang dyno.

glad to hear dyno went well.
it looks like you put together a nice conservative tune, which is just fine, based on your future plans for the car. i love having the software to tweak things here and there in the tune.
