Default Ideas for 07 GT

Okay car is paid warranty is dead so open season on what we can do to build this thing up. Now i don't need to worry about suspension and all that jazz. Now im looking power plant so any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've come down to 3 ideas 1 is standard the other 2 are a bit uncoventional at least to me.

option 1.
Rouch 2300 Supercharger, Ported heads, Ford racing cams, get 450-500 hp 400-480 tq

option 2.
Engine replacement 350-427 ci. this is the toughie i have no idea where to start or if they would even work with the current transmission preferable around 500 hp at the end of the day

option 3.
Mod to a 4v engine if someone can point me to a mad scientist able to do this I might just go this route.

I know any of these routes will run me 8-12k but im prepared to go that far into my car because I can. I'm very sure option 1 is the most doable solution for what I want power wise and almost any shop in my area could do the work. the other 2 would be a bit of a challenge I think. Well please let me know what ideas you guys have. However if you have an idea that would get me into the 450-500 hp range I would like to hear it im not compleatly sold on turbo's but i can entertain the thought.

I believe it really all comes down to how much power do you want in the end?

Option 1 is probably your best bet on getting things done quickly and enjoying the car sooner. Lots of members have been getting boosted lately and they all are enjoying it.

Option 3, You could do a 5.4L engine swap,it has been done before, but it will NOT be easy and will be costly.

Is your transmission an Auto or Manual?

I can't believe you wasted 4 years worrying about some bullchit warranty.

As FORD4life stated, it's about how much power and how much you want to spend. Also, even with a simple gain of 20-25 RWHP from the likes of a CAI & custom tune, the stock tires and suspension need upgrading. ANY power mod isn't worth much if you can't hook-up.

FYI: options 2 & 3 will get you into some electronic changes including a new PCM which can be a major headache unless you have the right tech on-board.

I say go for an iron 427, I'm kind of curious as to what that's going to do for handling, my guess is not much.

Does that mean you already have done the necessary work to put that kind of HP to the road? If not, I would remind you of the first rule of muscle car magic....NO STICKY, NO QUICKY.
If you have, go with number 1 or trade it in on a gt500 and call it a day.
