I currently have a bassani catted x pipe with o/r (cat deletes) but the cats ARE ON, and pypes muffler deletes. I see many videos on youtube with the pypes o/r mid muffler combo and was wondering if my bassani x pipe with my cat deletes and a mid muffler system would sound the same as a pypes o/r x seeing they are both straight piping and an X. Like I said above, would my bassani o/r x with mid muffler sound the same as a pypes o/r x mid muffler like this one?

I just put on the pypes mid muffler system and there is a lot of low end grunt. That paired with a good catless x pipe would be killer loud and I would suggest a resonater or a weaker muffler instead of the pypes muffler delete axelbacks that come with it.

Ha that made my day when you said low end grunt, the 99-04 are the best sounding stangs in my opinion. So any cattless x should be good right?
