So I probably wasn't clear what I meant by "big boys on sale" I meant someone who has already built a 650-900whp+ mustang. I see them go on sale frequently enough for $20,000-$35000.

and saleen superchargers are only good up to 500whp max, if you do everything you can to squeeze as much out you might hit 550whp, but i dunno. that means cams and headers.. biggest numbers are coming from the KB mammoth and the bigger whipple.

I am going to toss out the TVS2300 from Roush.. looking for someone to tell me what kind of max power I could expect if I were to forge the internals and get a better tranny.

I think I saw somebody with a TVS put down somewhere in the 700+ rwhp range.

He definitely had exhaust and cams, not sure if he had heads though.

U should call brenspeed to verify that I think the saleen is capable of more hp. Brenspeed advertises up to 900 but I'm sure u need all the right accessories

There is a guy over on S197 that did all he could to his saleen and hit 598, lol.

I have a buddy running mid 500s on his saleen setup. I can get a mod list from him if anyone cares to know.

Side note: I came into this thread thinking NA and when I saw your post, I had a huge "holy sh*t" moment for a good 5 seconds or so. lol.

N/A safely without going overboard but that won't necessarily be 400 RWHP All FRPP stuff so it's "safe" and you can probably FI it because it doesn't use High compression heads.
