Default Help me decide please

Trying to decide between BBK long tube headers with with catted x pipe using my pypes hi flow cats, or American Racing complete exhaust system including there high flow cats. Are the American racing headers woth the extra money or mostly the name.

I've seen a wide range of feed back on Bbk, most cases was it took some effort but they fit well. Apparently kooks and ARH are top knotch. If I had the money I would go kooks.

My local performance shop recommended bbk and they are fine with me. Those high priced headers would need to come with a free set of tires to be better, in my opinion.

I think it's just a matter of materials used. The ARH are higher quality but both serve the same purpose. I don't think either have an issue with welds or leaking, and depending on their finish/materials one could have decreased performance due to increase in heat.

If I had to pick I would probably go with the ARH.

I went with the ARH they are full length the others are 3/4, I plan on keeping the car so I went with the more expensive ARH hoping they will last, I also liked the idea of there cats being built into there pipes, I'll be running about 15 psi boost don't want to take a chance on cheap cats blowing out.

^^^^This............dont risk blowing a motor. I was told my Pypes HF cats would melt within months of installing the supercharger.
