Default Lights Dimming

Sup all, i been noticing at night while driving, if i start to get on it, my head lights will dim a lil, is this normal? I did have a 'Check Charging System' light pop up a few times on the message center but it went away a few seconds later...Any Ideas?

Not right, even with underdrives. If you are turning RPM thats when your alternator should be at highest output. You should never see a Charge system warning. Take it to your dealer.

Sounds like a bad alternator or connections. If you don't get it checked out and fixed your battery will be toast as well.

most defintally a crappy alternator that is either failed or starting to fail...when the begin to go they give out a varying voltage..hence the headlight flicker, i know that cause it happened on my old mustang last summer..took me all of 30mins to pop a new one in...you probably just got a crappy one id take it in and complain

Are you sure it's not just the force of acceleration pushing the eyeball back into the socket. If your eyeball gets pushed in you lose all sight! That's what they do when cutting the cornea when performing Lasic Eye Surgery!
