What kind of results are you guys getting with the performance, or 91 tune? I get bad pinging, and loss of power from that of the stock tune. Using 93 fuel, tried different fuel too. I just tried 100 hp nitrous and colder plugs with stock tune, no pinging. I'd like to use another tune just around town, I just can't seem to get it with this tuner. Maybe if I retard the timing? Wouldn't that sort of defeat the purpose though?

Yes back the timing off, if not the knock sensors adjust the timing back past stock to stop the threat of detonation. Back the timing off by .5's until you don't hear the pinging anymore and then by one more .5 to be sure. I did this and havn't had any more problems with pinging. Also, only use the highest quality fuel you can find from a busy station.
