Default 2013-2014 GT500 "track pack" rims on '05 GT?

Has anyone ever put those on a 2005-2009 s197? I have seen the American Muscle knock offs, but I am talking about the real deal. I know some people run 275's all around so the 265's should go in the front, and that 285's should fit in the back with not too much trouble. I just wonder if one needs spacers of any kind. If so I'll abandon the idea. I don't like running spacers.

The reason why I am asking is that I just got my 05 trough inspection and I know for the next time I'll need to replace brake parts and tires. It's fine now, but they are getting there for sure. I am entertaining the thought to go 2013-2014 GT500 brembo's in 2016, I need a set of rims to house them. I have always liked the track pack wheels. The regular gt500's would be fine too (same size, just not the awesome design).

Why big brakes? So I know I'll be good for whatever I'll do to the engine. And I really do dislike how crappy the brakes are. They slow you down, bit imho not enough. I'll probably also get the handling pack if/when I do that. I bet it would look pretty weird on stock height.

I don't know why they wouldn't fit, I hear you can fit 10" wide wheels up front.

yes 10" wheels will work on front and 11" work on back which the right off set, but if you drive you car everyday than maybe a 10" rim would not be for you..

I have seen the 2011 track pack wheels on a first gen S197, Those rims are pretty much the same size, just a different design. (They would be my second choice, I just really want the 2013-14 track pack wheels).

So I suppose your posts settled it. I'll be saving my coin for the coming months and hope I come across a nice set!
