Shaker 500 CD Player

Shaker 500 CD Player
I have the 5 CD player in a Shaker 500 2005 Mustang GT.
2 CDs are stuck in the machine. Neither will play. The player makes a slight grinding noise when 1st turned on and attempting to play them. It then displays CD Error. If I try to eject them, I get the same grinding and then Eject Error.
Is there anyone who can repair the unit and do a good job?

Here is a link to a place this still offers the replacement shaker head unit:

You can use PN 8R3T-18C815-HB-n which is labeled for the convertible but the only difference is that instead of Having equalizer options for "Driver" "All Seat" or "Rear Seats" it replaces All Seats or Rear Seats with a Top down setting (don't remember which it was is replaced).

I've used these people before with good luck. Maybe you can mail the radio to them.

Just to be clear. The 2 CDs in the stereo will not play or eject. The radio plays fine.
On reading some other posts, I'm concerned that I will be paying to repair a system that was poorly designed.
What I need is some way to replace the CD internals. I have no experience with CD changer repair. Maybe I should just bail and use an aftermarket unit, although I really don't want to.

I watched the You Tube video. I am surprised about the dirt in the switches. I would have thought there would be some protection/encasement to keep the dirt from getting in.
How often do these units have to be pulled apart, realigned, and have the switches cleaned?
Do aftermarket units use a better system?

I'll tell you right now, no automaker ever offered an in-dash CD changer worth a damn. they're all extraordinarily fragile and short lived. Replace your radio with a single-CD unit or get an aftermarket radio with USB and dump CD.
