MY SHAKER 500 SOUND SYSTEM NO LONGER MAKES THE DOORS SHAKE. I HAVE SOUND AND VOLUME, BUT THE SOUND LACKS BASS AND "FULLNESS". DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS MIGHT BE? THANKS FOR ANY INPUT!!

 

EITHER BOTH AMPLIFIERS FOR THE DOOR SUBWOOFERS HAVE DIED (NOT LIKELY) OR THE RADIO'S AUX OUTPUT TO THE SUBWOOFER AMPLIFIERS IS NOT WORKING (MORE LIKELY.)

and for God's sakes, man, fix your Caps Lock key.

 

Ha!!! Sorry....so what is the easiest and most cost effective solution to this problem?

 

On the menu for the radio is bass and treble all the way up??

 

can't say anything about that without knowing what's not working. if you don't have any experience with diagnosing electrical systems, find someone who does.

 

Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar problem before I spend money. Both bass and treble work, but the shake is gone even with the volume turned all the way up. Before this happened I heard a drone that was not too loud but noticeable. Thought it was the car next to me or possibly a berring, but it went away and then I noticed the diminished sound.

 

Maybe it was up too loud before so he is used to yelling at everyone!

Have you done any work on the car at all recently?
