Default Door Ajar and both windows INOP

Reading up on some of the SJB issues from water damaged I decided to pull it out and take a peak on my new to me 06 GT. SJB is fine, one of the harness connectors had corrosion that I cleaned up. Problem is after reconnecting everything I now have the door ajar signal for both doors, windows will not work, and console spot lights stay on. Did I just miss connecting something up or did I just earn myself a dealership flash?

Did you have the battery disconnected when you reconnected everything?

I thought so but now I'm not so sure. I'm guessing your thinking it's fried?

If you cleaned the SJB side while there was battery power, possibly yes. Not sure what you
cleaned it with, but could have shorted it out. Always use non-conductive cleaners; CRC
Electrical Parts Cleaner, and so on.

Did you try a reset? Pull the battery again, then reconnect the battery.

Was it all working before you decided to clean it, or were there other synptoms
due to water damage; your reason for cleaning it in the first place?

Last night I tried disconnecting the battery for about 15 mins and reconnecting with no results. Today I got home from work disconnected the battery again and pulled everything apart, everything looked like I had put it together fine but I pulled it all apart again anyway. After putting it all together everything is ok now. I have no idea what was wrong but I'm ok with it working now. When I pulled it apart there were no issues it was only to see if there were any signs of water damage to the SJB, the connector with the corrosion was not connected to the SJB. Cleaned with a nylon brush and will be looking into getting some dielectric grease to prevent further corrosion.

I guess I should also ask, beyond resetting the window calibration, is there anything else that I should make sure is setup properly after the battery disconnects?

Nope, just the window calibration. Anything engine side will be relearned.
