Clicking noise while braking

2014 GT, clicking noise under gear shifter and emergency brake while braking. Doesn’t matter if the car is in gear or neutral, or if the clutch is engaged or not.

Check the center bearing of the driveshaft for excessive play. If worn, it could cause the clicking you've described.

My 06 does this, can only here it when car is stopped, I believe it's normal.
