Hello everyone. Just picked up my 2011 GT CS and I had a question about updating the sync. I have the shaker 500 system with the navigation. I believe it's never been updated so how do I go about doing that? Also, if I can't, how do you get the song name etc. to show up instead of your phone name on the menu? Kind of annoying having to look at your phone to see what is playing. Thanks.

 

You can google ford sync update. But you'll need to know the version you currently have in your car. I did an update on mine (ON USB) and it improved the SYNC a lot.
