I'm looking to buy a gt500 style hood for my 06 but I'm running into issues as to where a good site is. Cjpony it's 800$ shipped and everywhere else I find is pretty sketchy like bodykits.com.

You get what you pay for. If you buy schetchy sure, you save some money but, what about the hassles from any problems that come up?

CJ Pony parts, American Muscle, LMR and other vetted vendors have great customer service and sell what they say they sell. That's why they charge what they do.

 

I ended up buying one made by amerihood off late model performance. Also american muscle has been nothing but issues for me they even tried blackmailing me to avoid a lawsuit which btw failed.

 

Would be interested in hearing the details of this statement.

 

Had an issue with fraud on my card so my bank disputed it. American muscle now refuses to send me the correct item from a prior purchase until I withdraw a valid police backed fraud dispute/investigation
