Brake pedal goes down half way before braking
I have a question for the group before I change my master cylinder.
I have a 2006 mustang gt with about 120,000 miles and the original master cylinder.
For the longest time, it seems that the pedal has to go down about half way before activating the brakes.
All of the brake pads have been recently replaced and the rear brake calipers are adjusted correctly.
I also recently had the front rotors turned.
Pumping the brakes has no effect on this issue and I have bleed them recently with no air on the system. I also blend them recently before this.
For all of this, all that I can think is to change the master cylinder since I dont believe the car had this issue years ago.
What say you?
