NOS and C/E light
I guessing it's common to get the check engine light on sometimes when spraying but wanted to get some opions on how normal this is. I'm running a wet system at 75 hp. It's conservative I know but I have not changed the plugs out or done any internals so that' all I want to do right now. Also above 5,200 rpm the power seems to start slowing. Would this be because I have not adjusted the timing to the spray. It only lags above that while I'm spraying otherwise it revs hard until I let off. The C/E lights seems to turn off after a few minutes. Anyway kinda new to the whole NOS thing so I'm trying not to screw up.

That doesn't seem correct. I've never had that issue running Nitrous. I would put it on the dyno and figure out what's going on while you spray... better safe than sorry.

Are you saying the check engine does not seem right or the power tone down, or both.

I think they may be related. Your engine may sense something wrong and pulling timing... Overall the situation seems strange. My Nitrous has always pulled hard to redline.

Granted it was on my S2K, I ran stock tune, colder plugs and typcially Octane booster just to be safe. 9k rpms and Nitrous sometimes don't go well together. I had my car on the dyno and they played with the Nitrous jets until I got where I wanted to be. You can't tune the S2K like you can the Mustang.
I just think with Nitrous it is better to be safe then sorry. On the dyno they can tell you if you are running lean, rich, detonation, starving the engine of fuel, etc.

OK, let me ask the stupid question... when you hooked the car up to the code scanner, what did it read as the cause of the C/E light? That is usually where I start. The car is very good at telling you what is wrong.

Good idea. I'll see if the car saved the code. The light turned off soon after but it may have saved it. Thanks, for the help guys.
