Mac Headers not quite shortys but not long.
Are these good for performance? In other words are they better than the stock headers? I've read in an earlier magazine I think it was "Fast Fords and Mustangs," and they said shortys don't do squat on the 05s'.

RE: Mac Headers not quite shortys but not long.
lidio at alternative auto put the mac system on his car(headers to mufflers including hi-flow cats) and only picked up 10hp. after talking to him and justin burcham i decided to go with the hooker long tubes. short tubes just don't make enough of a difference to justify the cost. long tubes gain approx. 15-23hp&20ft.lbs. torque vs. shorties 0-10hp & 0-10 ft.lbs. torque.
