1st gear will retunning help

Just got a new 2006 gt. Ist day trying to run a little, I notice that you really don't get to whine out 1st at all. Its my 1st time driving a 5 five speed since my 1965 gto. Does a cai and tune really help these cars, never done one. Thanks for any input.

Yep - Cai and tune, done right, really make a difference. My custom tune from yesterday -
