very nice...i may do this same thing...i never track my car other than a few runs down the local 1/8th mile track...so the disk would be a good appearance upgrade and the pads will give me the improved braking that ive been looking for...

For $350 (rotors) + $144 (HPS pads) + free install (me), it is hard to beat for the street. With 133,000 miles I was going to possibly need new OE rotors. Local mechanics were quoting $500 to do the brakes with factory "like" pads and turned rotors.

With air tools and the brake tool kit from Advance Auto, it wasn't that bad.

These look like OEM sized replacments so they should fit.

I just installed the same setup on the rear wheels, Baer rotors & hawk hps pads. After one week the rotors went from shiny silver to a dark color. Any ideas of why this happened? Can it be cleaned or fixed?

That's normal... You can't expect something spinning that fast and then being sandwiched between 2 brake pads with intense force to stay looking shiny and new :-P And no it's not going to wash off.. at least i'm not aware of anything that will wash it off.

nope wont wash off,
its not really dirty its just that the plating on the rotors has been wore off on the part of the rotor where the pads contact the rotor, as with normal wear on the rotor the plating has come off, you cannot refurbish it, well then why plate it?? it stops the other areas that dont come in contact with the pads to stop from rusting to keep them looking good. its steel at heart and will rust, the plating will stop that and keep it looking good, aside from the pad contact are wich will stay non rusted from normal brake applications
