Default Shaker/scoop question..

Hey guys.. My friend has an 04 GT and he's looking around for a Mach 1.. He had the idea to put a GT scoop over the mach 1 shaker.. I, for one wouldnt do it and think it would look odd.. But, would it even work? Would the GT scoop fit properly over the shaker and on the mach 1 hood?
Just wondering if its ever been done before.. thanks.

Doubt that it would work without fabbing it up right. Why would you cover the shaker up?

USMC and JMAC are right on this one, it'd be possible with a little fabrication if the guy is good enough with that kind of thing, but for me personally the shaker is one of the coolest things about the mach I have, I wouldn't WANT to cover it up.

That would take away alot from the Mach, but yea, it's possible. He's going to have to fiberglass it in and repaint the entire hood. Unless he is experienced with fabrication/molding, etc, he better get someone else to do it for sure.

i agree with all you guys, covering up the shaker would be retarded.. i think the shaker looks awesome..
i seriously doubt he would actually do it though, just an idea that got me wondering if it would even work..
