i dont know a percentage or anything but i bought my car without illegally mirroed tinted sides and rear
i get pulled over every now and then for it here in florida and wind up with a 70 dollar ticket

i have always been stupid with tint
on my last truck i had 5 all around, double 5 on back window, 5 tint strip 7" long on top + 5 tint strip on bottom 6" long. car was the darkest in the school[8D]

Putting a double layer of 5% is ridiculous. You would be allowing .25% of light to go through the windows. This would pretty much be for a show car or just a teenager trying to be cool.
Having tint that dark is just one more reason for cops to pull you over and screw with you.

The cops don't pull you over and rape you? Around here the cops would definitely ticket you on that.

heres the catch, lol
my cops arnt really strict on tint, i have been pulled over and cop dident say anything (was at night) got out of a wreckless driving and unsafe start
BUT if i go over to the next twp they are strict as hell and i would get azz raped
+ windsheild tint is a whole other ticket then the window tint
