Default How Many Cats?

Hey Guys,
how many cats does a stock 04 Mach 1 have?
Are they all located on the midpipe?

I believe an MRT catted H has 2 - does it look very different to the stock Mid pipe? I am asking because it looks like I will have to get my new Mach 1 (which has an MRT catted H) inspected by the DMV guys here in CA. Do you think they will notice?

Thanks for the advice!

The stock midpipe has 4 cats. I have no idea what will happen with CA inspection though.

4 eh? Ah tartar sauce, looks like I might need to find a stock 04 midpipe. When I get it registered here they will give it a good look over and I expect they will notice. At that point I can act surprised and say I will get it replaced right away and hope to avoid a fine [:@]

If anyone else knows something about this I would love to hear it!
Thanks,
C

I thought all aftermarket midpipes with cats were street legal. Otherwise why would anyone buy one with cats when you get better hp w/o them? California is different than most other states from what I understand though. Maybe go to the inspection station before hand and ask them.
