First gear with 4.10's should be about 37 MPH.
Second with 4.10's should be about 63 MPH
Third should go to about 95 MPH.
Fourth should go to about 123+

That is according to gear calculators. The cars rev out 1000rpm more than a GT so they will hit higher speeds in each gear when they have the same gearing.

I read somewhere that the difference in rpm between 3.55s and 4.10s was about 300 higher, meaning that it should still be able to hit 140mph or very close to it.

Yup. That is right because the aerodynamic drag will slow the car down slightly.

OP, did you adjust for the speedo reading?

As an axample my prior vehicle, '04 MB E320 pulled strong through about mid 140'ish... reaching 150 a couple times... I know different style of car / different gear, but it would be nice to be able to roll up to 130's on the hwy...once in a whilie.
Yes sir I adjusted it with my Xcal 2. Alls I had to do was change the rear axle ratio to 4.10 and I was good to go!

I know I put a C6 toploader in my foxbody with the stock 2:73 gears I'm hitting 2600rpm's to drive 60mph on the hwy!
I'll let you know when I've been riding them for a bit. I only put about 50 miles on them so far because I've been on vacation but I honestly have a gut feeling my city mileage will go up and my highway mileage will be roughly the same.

With stock gears, I got about 17-19 MPG when mainly doing city driving, and I would get about 23 MPG when mainly doing highway. So we'll see how much these 4.10s make a difference in that category.

Hey guys, I really hope you're not racing in 5th gear... that's the worst thing you can do.. it creates WAY to much heat... the race is over at the top of 4th gear... Don't race in 5th gear.. big mistake.

Anyway - Congrats on the gears; I am getting ready to drop my 4.30's in this week hopefully... Do you guys know the difference in RPMs from 3.55 to 4.30's at 100mph??? It's 500... and the 4.10's it's around the 300...

The thing is about these gears; you're never going to need to be fast enough to run a 1/4 mile race to have you top out 4th gear... and when you do.. you won't need the gears... and anywhere in this country you're driving that fast 120+ you're just asking for it... whether it be getting arrested, or breaking the car...

Has anyone here blown a tire doing 100+mph in a race...? I have; I was actually doing about 115... it's was easily the hardest thing i've ever had to control and was amazed I didn't kill myself doing so...

Be careful out there guys - we don't need anymore torn up Mach 1's out there.. and use good judgement.
