lowering kit question

dont want to steal the thread, but when you take out the isolators, wont that cause problems or noises b/c of metal on metal contact??
i have heard that the 800 or so spring/pound rate or w/e will eventually cause damage to the springs or something after a while.. true or false??
i want to take out my iso's for spring with the new wheel tire package comin in
and i heard each iso is about 1/4 inch?? i couldnt really tell how big they were when i had my car on the lift.. they look thick though

But hey, I get my 18x9" Mach wheels AND the Vredestein tires with only 5,000 miles on them for $500 Talk about lucky eh?

Yes sir. They definitely look nice when they're nice and clean, but I'm getting bored of them. During the summer, I hope to scrap up enough cash to get some 17x10.5" black FR500's for the rear and 17x9's for the front.
